Excellent story, I just finished reading it all.

There are a lot of things that aren't historically accurate, such as how Saul is still alive, and the causing of the Cataclysm (you have to finish the game to know all about it, though).

Anyway, not bad.

I seem to recall Saul lived long enough to defeat the Charr invasion in Kryta but died in an ambush later after the Charr had been defeated. As for the Cataclysm, I've heard of Vizier's hand in it all so I wrote it in.

You might notice that the story takes place BEFORE the end of the game when Saul Is still alive.

Yeah, just re-read the history again :P
Okay, so I'm wrong about that. However, he got the person responsible for the Cataclysm wrong.
Also, they're called Mursaat.

Mursaat, Myrsaat, Mohammed, Muhammed, so long as people know who I'm talking about it's all good.

OK, I've done a chapter by chapter summary of the Trials of Saul - The Lost Volumes and it's come up to around 18 chapters. Cataclysm of Orr was only 13 chapters plus now I've got a part time job and I got university studies so I'll have to see whether or not I can get this done.

I'm thinking of combining all the Lost Volumes into one big story and then writing one more called the Lost Volumes - The Searing which is the prequel to this one. Once all three are one then I've basically got myself a three part novel.

Currently the unfinished Trials of Saul + Cataclysm of Orr has enough content to fit a 200+ page novel. With all three I'd easily have enough content.

Quite so. I'm going to buy it if it's released in Canada
